⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This Book Changed Me
This is one of the best books I have ever read. It is in my top three of books that had a profound effect on me (I'm still waiting to find that third book). Grant and Morgan's story was beautiful to read. I'm ashamed to say that I almost passed up this story after reading the blurb once I saw that Morgan had autism; however the reviews I read convinced me to give it a try and I'm so very glad I did.

Exquisite. I have rarely read a novel this intensely emotional, even when, or maybe especially when, it isn't overt. The use of light is captivating. The use of humor's delightful. I laughed out loud several times...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐All the feels for Morgan and Grant
When I found out there was a sequel I was ecstatic and nervous - this book had a lot to live up to!
And it 100% did - because it didn't try to copy the original formula that made book 1 sing. Instead this book focused on what married life looked like for Grant and Morgan and acknowledged the joy, love, mystery, adoration - and yes, the limitations - that comes with their relationship.
This is a follow up to the novel In the Absence of Light. You must read the first book to fully understand/enjoy this one.
A handmade sailboat helped bring Morgan back to Grant but he never imagined they would put it in the water.
Then Morgan sees something in the light that sets Grant on a mission to get them to the middle of the ocean. An unknown destination they have to be when the sun rises.
It’s important enough that Morgan is willing to leave Durstrand. Important enough that he’ll face the challenges of his autism.
So important, it could even be a matter of life and death.

I loved this book, I love the dynamic the men share. I have read and re-read the first book and I am sure I will do the same with By The Light Of Dawn!
